This week was very easy school wise. So my wife and I took a trip to Idaho falls and did a lot of our ‘mystery shopping’ stuff along the way. I suppose one could consider it a business of sorts. It is an independent contracting position. We like to do it when we go on road trips to cover costs and make some extra money.
We also got to visit the Idaho fall temple, that was so much fun!
Aside from that the week was all about learning how to communicate patiently and effectively with each other and others. I got to utilize a lot of what I learned last week, as well as the things we learned about persevering this week.
I haven’t started reading the new assigned book yet, I don’t remember what its called off the top of my head. I got into an audio book called ‘blind mans bluff’ during our road trip. It fit really well with this weeks lessons because its all about naval submarine stories and what officers did in really stressful situations, much of them were stories that hadn’t ever been told before!
How those men approached their problems and dealt with their stress was a good eye opener, and auxiliary lesson to go along with this weeks material. Highly recommend the book!
